This paddle was made with a beautiful piece of monkey pod wood and book-matched to give symmetry. It comes with a stand to hang vertically on the wall. Traditionally this style of paddle would be used to steer an outrigger racing canoe. This piece took countless hours of carving, shaping, and sanding to create a completely smooth surface. The paddle is then expertly finished with a light coating of lacquer to enhance the beauty of the grain.
